About the Role
Pacific International Drilling S.A. is a rapidly growing global offshore drilling leader providing ultra-deepwater services to the oil and gas industry. We operate a modern, high-specification fleet of drillships with a steadfast commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chief Electronic Supervisor to join our offshore team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and maintain all electronic systems and equipment on board mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs).
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex electronic, navigation, and communication systems.
- Manage electronic maintenance schedules, inventory, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and lead junior electronics technicians to maintain high operational standards.
- Recognized trade qualification from a technical college, apprenticeship, or equivalent.
- Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE / WAEC) or GCE O'Level, with OND, HND, or B.Sc. preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated and documented experience as an Electronics Technician on a MODU.
- Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license required if working on dynamic positioning (DP) semi-submersibles.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria with fluent oral and written English communication skills.
