About the Role
Shalina Healthcare is a market leader in making quality healthcare products affordable and available across Africa. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Production Supervisor to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our life-saving healthcare products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with regulatory standards, helping us achieve our mission of improving community health.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across assigned pharmaceutical production areas to meet approved schedules and targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company safety regulations.
- Monitor key processes including dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, encapsulation, coating, and packaging.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs).
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to swiftly resolve operational issues and reduce downtime.
- Identify process deviations, report non-conformances promptly, and actively support Root Cause Analysis and CAPA implementation.
- B.Sc., B.Pharm, or HND in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of proven hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, GDP, pharmaceutical equipment, and core manufacturing processes.
