About the Role
Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, a leading manufacturer of polyether foam products and lifestyle goods in Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and results-driven Production Supervisor to join our dynamic factory operations team. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing daily shift operations, coordinating factory floor personnel, and ensuring seamless manufacturing runs that align with our commitment to quality and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee shift production output to ensure daily targets, strict quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Allocate floor personnel efficiently across operational lines to minimize downtime, optimize workflow, and eliminate labor waste.
- Monitor shop-floor processes, enforcing strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, workplace cleanliness, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete accurate and timely shift reports capturing production output, downtime reasons, raw material usage, and scrap rates.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate proactively with maintenance teams to address equipment faults promptly.
- Educational Qualification: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) ONLY in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. Please note that HND, B.Sc., or higher degrees will not be considered for this specific role.
- Mandatory Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of direct, hands-on production floor experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial factory environment.
