About the Role
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited, a trusted leader in in-house manufacturing since 1998, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Production Superintendent to coordinate and oversee daily production activities at our plant. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that production targets are achieved, manpower is effectively managed, machines are properly utilized, and all operations are carried out in strict compliance with established quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise daily production activities across assigned manufacturing sections to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets efficiently.
- Monitor operators, supervisors, and production personnel to guarantee optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure proper manpower allocation, shift scheduling, and resource utilization on the factory floor.
- Monitor machine performance closely and promptly escalate operational or technical issues to maintenance teams.
- Track production output, downtime, rejects, raw material usage, and wastage to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and periodic performance reports for management.
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Quality Control teams to minimize equipment downtime and reduce quality defects.
- Enforce strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety standards.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant supervisory experience within a structured manufacturing environment.
- Direct hands-on experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding, or blow moulding operations is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and manpower management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
