About the Role
Proten International is a leading Human Capital Development firm partnering with a top pharmaceutical client to recruit a dedicated Production Pharmacist. Located in Afromedia, off the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Ojo, Lagos, this entry-level position is designed for a driven pharmacy graduate eager to kickstart their career in industrial manufacturing. You will work closely with experienced professionals to ensure all production processes align with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in supervising daily manufacturing activities, including batch production, filling, labelling, and packaging.
- Support the implementation of quality control procedures to guarantee products meet established benchmarks.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and internal company operating procedures.
- Review production documentation, batch records, and certificates of analysis with high attention to detail.
- Report deviations and assist in investigating production discrepancies or product complaints.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of production activities, quality checks, and safety audits.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Research and Development, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing (NYSC corps members or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical production workflows and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
