About the Role
Fadac Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Operator to join our dynamic food manufacturing team in Ogun State. In this role, you will oversee daily mayonnaise production operations, ensuring that all output, quality, and food safety targets are achieved while strictly adhering to regulatory standards and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily production plans for the mayonnaise line, managing batching, emulsification, mixing, filling, capping, coding, and packing.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as ingredient quantities, mixing speeds, temperature, viscosity, and fill weights, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP controls, and personal hygiene standards across the production floor.
- Supervise line operators and helpers, allocate shift duties, conduct toolbox briefings, and train team members on safety and operational SOPs.
- Perform daily equipment checks, report breakdowns promptly, and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping standards, ensure proper PPE compliance, and prepare accurate shift production and material reconciliation reports.
- B.Sc or HND in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven production experience within a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing plant, with emulsion or sauce experience being a distinct advantage.
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and NAFDAC regulatory compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising production lines, motivating shift teams, and problem-solving.
- Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel) and a willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
