About the Role
KPMG, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a talented and proactive Production Operations Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping our oil, gas, and industrial clients achieve safe, reliable, and optimized asset performance through world-class maintenance planning and execution support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain integrated maintenance plans and schedules to support safe and reliable operations.
- Prepare execution-ready work packs including task lists, job steps, resource requirements, and execution sequences.
- Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors, and specialist support to ensure effective work execution.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, procurement, logistics, and contractor teams to support execution readiness.
- Manage materials, spares, and equipment readiness to support scheduled maintenance activities.
- Support field execution teams through schedule updates, work scope adjustments, and execution feedback.
- Integrate operational risks, asset priorities, and schedule constraints into planning activities.
- Participate in planning reviews, Integrated Activity Planning sessions, and backlog management meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations/Maintenance Management, or a related field with a minimum of a Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, production operations, or asset integrity environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, or asset management platforms.
- Familiarity with oil and gas, energy, or large industrial operational environments is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications such as P6, APICS/ASCM, NEBOSH, or Six Sigma represent a distinct advantage.
