About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned and leading firm in the beverage production industry, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to join our expanding manufacturing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in driving our operational excellence, ensuring that all beverage manufacturing processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the entire bottled water and carbonated soft drink (CSD) production lines independently to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Organize and schedule production workflows in strict accordance with established company manufacturing and quality standards.
- Monitor machinery and equipment performance, coordinating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Enforce stringent health, safety, and hygiene protocols across the factory floor to comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production floor staff to foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished goods to ensure consistency, taste, and safety before packaging and distribution.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven production management experience within the beverage manufacturing sector, specifically with bottled water and CSD processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of beverage plant manufacturing workflows, quality control frameworks, and safety compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently manage large teams and resolve operational challenges swiftly.
