About the Role
SLB, the global leader in oil and gas technology and integrated project management, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Artificial Lift Field Specialist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical field-based role, you will be responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to our esteemed clients while driving continuous improvement and adhering to the highest standards of quality and HSE compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare Artificial Lift equipment and tools for seamless field operations.
- Participate in pre-job readiness activities including CWOP, site visits, and job briefings.
- Supervise field installation of Artificial Lift equipment and manage risk during service delivery.
- Setup, commission, troubleshoot, and repair surface equipment such as VSDs, switchboards, and transformers.
- Capture accurate field data to ensure timely job deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to team members while leading risk analyses.
- Ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards through rigorous wellsite inspections.
- Participate in service quality reviews with stakeholders to action performance improvements.
- Diploma or HND in a Technical, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience leading artificial lift operations, including field installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of ESPs, ESPCPs, HPS, and VSDs.
- Hands-on experience in complex ESP installations such as Y-tools, shrouds, PODs, and dual ESP systems.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative team player mentality, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
