About the Role
Dicalo Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to direct factory operations and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial expertise, particularly from the food or agricultural processing sectors, to optimize resource utilization and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure timely production targets are met.
- Manage factory operations, ensuring processes are executed effectively and safely.
- Optimize the utilization of production resources to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Supervise, lead, and mentor production teams to foster high performance and accountability.
- Ensure regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- Enforce strict adherence to quality control requirements and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Maintain accurate production reports, operational records, and performance metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of proven manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Prior experience in food or agricultural processing environments is strongly preferred.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in production planning, cost reduction strategies, and HSE compliance.
- Must reside in Agbara, Ogun State, or immediate environs due to shift requirements.
- Competitive monthly salary of N400,000 to N500,000.
- Provision of lunch during shifts.
- Additional overtime compensation for Sunday shifts.
