About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company established in 2014, with multiple operational offices and our head office in Abuja, Nigeria. We are currently seeking three (3) experienced and results-driven Production Managers to oversee and optimize daily production activities within our plastic manufacturing facility. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively in line with our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to achieve targets within approved timelines.
- Monitor production output, machine efficiency, capacity utilization, downtime, waste, and material consumption.
- Develop robust production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and available capacity.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team on machinery breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to continuously improve efficiency.
- Monitor production costs, enforce strict quality standards, and implement measures to reduce waste.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate production personnel to ensure optimal manpower deployment and discipline.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales departments for seamless operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant production and manufacturing experience in a similar role.
- Practical knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes including injection moulding, blow moulding, or extrusion.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and waste reduction methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
