About the Role
Dicalo Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Production Manager on behalf of our esteemed client in the manufacturing sector. Located in Agbara, Ogun State, this role requires a hands-on leader to oversee daily production operations, ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure timely delivery of manufacturing targets.
- Manage factory operations, resource utilization, and production schedules to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
- Supervise and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment undergo proper maintenance to minimize operational downtime.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with Quality Control and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Prepare accurate production reports and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Bachelor Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience with a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Prior experience in food processing, agricultural processing, or heavy industrial settings is highly advantageous.
- Strong expertise in production planning, factory operations, resource management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital production reporting tools.
- Must reside in Agbara, Ogun State, or immediate environs due to shift requirements.
