About the Role
The Milk Booster is Nigeria's foremost breastfeeding company dedicated to providing healthy lactation treats that increase breastmilk supply for nursing mothers. We are deeply committed to helping mothers overcome low milk supply challenges and building healthier families across the nation. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to take full ownership of our production operations, lead our dedicated factory team, maintain strict quality standards, and drive continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to ensure seamless manufacturing workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and improve production team performance to foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure at least 95 percent compliance with strict quality, safety, and production standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure prompt implementation of necessary corrective actions.
- Monitor production costs and implement strategic measures targeting a 5 percent annual reduction in expenses.
- Track and improve team productivity, targeting a 10 percent increase on a quarterly basis.
- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime and equipment failure.
- Initiate and implement at least two major process improvement projects annually to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor production output, waste management, and other vital manufacturing KPIs.
- Prepare comprehensive and regular production reports for senior management review.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on production or manufacturing experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of modern production processes, quality control frameworks, and workplace safety standards.
- Prior working experience in the food, beverage, or fast-moving consumer goods FMCG industry will be a distinct advantage.
