About the Role

Cyra Fashion Academy is a premier vocational training institution dedicated to cultivating elite fashion designers and creative entrepreneurs. Based in Ota, Ogun State, the academy delivers an intensive, hands-on curriculum that bridges the gap between artistic garment production and commercial business execution. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing floor, streamline garment production processes, and mentor the next generation of fashion leaders in a fast-paced academic and commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the entire garment production workflow from design translation to final quality control.
  • Coordinate daily manufacturing schedules to ensure timely completion of student projects and commercial orders.
  • Maintain strict quality standards and implement efficient waste-reduction strategies on the production floor.
  • Collaborate with instructors and design tutors to align practical production training with industry best practices.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, fabrics, and tailoring equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations across all operational areas.
  • Train, guide, and supervise junior production staff, tailors, and students during practical sessions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a Production Manager or Senior Tailor within the fashion or apparel manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sewing machinery, garment construction techniques, and pattern making.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
