About the Role
Buckler Ordnance Systems Limited is a premier Nigerian defense solutions provider specializing in the manufacturing of civilian armored vehicles, as well as the design and prototyping of military vehicles and ordnance equipment. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring strict compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead production staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing, and safe work environment.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize production processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and implement industry best practices.
- Lead complex technical projects from conception through to successful completion, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and present comprehensive production reports and data-driven analyses to senior management to guide strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (advanced degrees or professional certifications are a strong advantage).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a production management role, including direct supervisory or line management responsibilities.
- Prior hands-on experience in automotive or vehicle production will be considered a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of technical manufacturing standards, industry legislation, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with modern production management software and tools.
