About the Role
Sinoma Nigeria Company Limited, an affiliate of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd, is a premier EPC turnkey project construction company seeking a skilled Cement Plant Process Engineer. In this vital role, you will drive operational excellence, optimize production parameters, and collaborate with our international technical team to ensure superior cement manufacturing standards across our operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize the entire cement production process including crushing, raw meal grinding, clinker calcination, and cement grinding.
- Monitor daily production status, diagnose and resolve process abnormalities, and minimize downtime caused by operational issues.
- Develop and implement comprehensive production standards, operating guidelines, and continuous improvement plans on-site.
- Collaborate closely with the Chinese technical team to execute production debugging, process upgrades, and new product trials.
- Train and mentor process operators on standardized procedures while conducting regular technical assessments.
- Ensure strict adherence to factory safety regulations and execute effective emergency responses during on-site incidents.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Cement Process, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of formal process engineering experience within a fully operational cement manufacturing plant.
- Proven ability to independently analyze process faults, optimize parameters, and enhance clinker and cement quality.
- Proficiency in English for professional technical communication, with basic oral Chinese communication skills considered a strong advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong on-site troubleshooting skills, and comprehensive knowledge of factory safety standards.
