About the Role
The Candel FZE is a leading Nigerian manufacturing company specializing in the development, production, marketing, and distribution of agrochemicals, specialized fertilizers, seeds, and allied products. We are recruiting a dedicated Production Engineer to join our dynamic Production Team, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor blow molding and injection molding machines in accordance with production schedules
- Set up machines, calibrate parameters, and optimize production processes for efficiency
- Perform comprehensive quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards
- Execute basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to resolve operational issues
- Detect, document, and report major machine faults or production anomalies to supervisors
- Conduct routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, production standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and detailed production records for reporting and analysis
- HND (Higher National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited Nigerian Polytechnic
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving production processes
- Basic understanding of plastic processing techniques and industrial machine operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated willingness to work hands-on with machinery
- Capacity to troubleshoot elementary machine issues independently
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environments
- Exceptional attention to detail with unwavering commitment to product quality
- Prior experience with injection or blow molding machines is advantageous
