About the Role

Honeywell is looking for an experienced Advanced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for complex industrial systems, ensuring optimal performance and maximum uptime for our valued clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert on-site technical assistance, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services for complex systems at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues promptly, acting as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists and engineers.
  • Specialize in custody transfer, tank inventory management systems, gas flow metering systems, skids, and flame and gas detection systems.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, managing order inquiries, ship dates, returns, and ensuring all customer expectations are met.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to proactively identify and address potential equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and logistics to drive continuous improvement in field service processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, equipment status, and customer interactions while strictly adhering to safety policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, though relevant diploma certifications may be considered.
  • Proven professional experience in field service engineering or a closely related technical environment within Nigeria.
  • Strong technical expertise in custody transfer, tank inventory management, gas flow metering, and field instrumentation.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to flexible travel schedules for on-site visits.
