About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading household name in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry known for popular brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin, is seeking a detail-oriented Production Documentation Officer for our ultra-modern facility in Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing, issuing, reviewing, and controlling essential manufacturing documents to guarantee strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and issue Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs) ensuring correct, approved versions are utilized.
- Review completed production records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved procedures.
- Verify critical parameters including batch numbers, raw material quantities, weighing records, and processing times.
- Identify and manage documentation errors, discrepancies, and assist in production deviation investigations and CAPA implementation.
- Maintain controlled copies of SOPs, logbooks, and production documents while archiving completed records securely.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production, and Warehouse departments to facilitate seamless batch release.
- B.Sc. or B.Tech in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to identify discrepancies and errors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
