About the Role
Kredete is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development, performance, and scaling of our banking and financial product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a builder and problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, understands complex financial systems, and takes full ownership of turning complex challenges into reliable, scalable banking experiences across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end strategy, lifecycle, and commercial performance of banking and financial products from ideation to scale.
- Set up product rules, pricing, transaction flows, and operational processes while managing P&L, revenue, and unit economics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Risk to ensure seamless product execution.
- Partner with external stakeholders, regulators, and payment networks to integrate and launch new capabilities.
- Drive long-term product expansion strategies into new African and international markets.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant product management experience in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven expertise in product P&L ownership, pricing, and financial modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance frameworks, KYC/KYB, and AML requirements.
