About the Role
Divest enables African crypto users to convert their cryptocurrencies into local fiat currency instantly, facilitating seamless money transfers to bank accounts and mobile wallets across the continent. We are looking for an ambitious Product Manager to drive delivery within our cross-border payments portfolio, take ownership of defined product areas, and help scale our financial infrastructure for African users.
Key Responsibilities- Own the delivery of features within our remittance and off-ramp products, writing clear PRDs and user stories while collaborating daily with engineering, design, compliance, and operations teams.
- Conduct user discovery, define success metrics, and leverage funnel and transaction data to prioritize and iterate on product features.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned payment and payout partners, tracking SLAs and coordinating integrations.
- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into seamless product flows alongside our compliance team.
- Contribute to strategic roadmap planning with well-argued, data-backed proposals and support incident response for your product areas.
- 3+ years of product management experience, with at least 1 to 2 years specifically in fintech, crypto, or payments.
- Demonstrated experience shipping at least one payments-adjacent product or major feature end-to-end.
- Working knowledge of KYC and AML requirements and experience building or modifying compliance-driven product flows.
- Proficiency with product analytics tools to pull data and make informed prioritization decisions.
- Bonus points for exposure to African payment rails like NIP, MPesa, or MoMo, and early-stage startup experience.
