About the Role
Join Duplo as a Product Manager and shape the future of financial services in Africa. We're building the banking-as-a-service platform powering the next generation of financial infrastructure. Our mission is to make B2B payments as seamless as peer-to-peer transfers, backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Point Nine, and Tribe Capital.
You'll own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Duplo Dashboard—our spend management, billing, and financial operations platform trusted by businesses across West and East Africa. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive both product excellence and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap for Duplo Dashboard (spend management, billing, compartmentalisation, TMS, and e-invoicing)
- Lead end-to-end delivery of monetisation initiatives from discovery through market launch and adoption
- Conduct customer discovery and stakeholder interviews across Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya to validate use cases
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance, and GTM teams to translate requirements into shippable product increments
- Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to prioritise roadmap decisions
- Author clear, detailed PRDs and BRDs that guide technical execution
- Manage customer migration strategies for monetised features, minimising churn and support issues
- Mentor peer product managers and represent the platform in strategic planning sessions
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–6 years of B2B product management experience, with proven success owning fintech, payments, or SaaS products
- Demonstrated expertise shipping billing, invoicing, subscription, or usage-based monetisation features
- Expert-level ability to write comprehensive PRDs/BRDs and collaborate cross-functionally on regulated products
- Strong data literacy and comfort making trade-offs with incomplete information
- Experience or genuine interest in African markets and B2B financial infrastructure challenges
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven stakeholder influence
- Action-oriented mindset suited to fast-paced startup environments
