About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a talented Product Auditor to provide independent assurance over the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of product controls across payment, wallet, and settlement systems, safeguarding our operations against revenue leakage and technology-driven risks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a risk-based Product Audit Universe and own the annual audit plan for all payment features and integrations.
- Review PRDs and transaction workflows to identify logic gaps and provide formal control design sign-off prior to product releases.
- Interrogate fee engines using SQL to mathematically verify commission, VAT, and split payment precision.
- Trace fund flows to ensure continuous synchronisation between wallet sub-ledgers and the General Ledger.
- Lead post-incident reviews, produce structured root cause analysis reports, and ensure regulatory alignment with CBN guidelines and PCI DSS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Product Audit, Systems Audit, Financial Data Analytics, or Payment Operations within fintech.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CFE, ACA, or ACCA.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and deep familiarity with Nigerian payment architecture, wallet systems, and regulatory frameworks.
