About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading fintech company digitizing Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, real estate acquisition, commercial lease negotiation, and vendor onboarding for our nationwide physical expansion. In this pivotal role, you will act as the commercial anchor for capital expenditure and real estate portfolio growth, ensuring the timely and cost-effective rollout of regional offices and branch experience centers across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market search, commercial evaluation, and acquisition of prospective real estate assets for nationwide branch rollouts.
- Spearhead high-stakes commercial lease negotiations, securing competitive rental rates, rent-free fit-out periods, and favorable lease terms.
- Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy for construction, civil works, and specialized MEP infrastructure.
- Source institutional-grade security assets, including vault doors, CSA security doors, and CBN-approved mantrap doors.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, and Quantity Surveyors to draft robust contracts, manage vendor compliance, and drive cost-saving value engineering.
- 4 to 7 years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience in banking, fintech, or tier-1 construction firms.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial real estate acquisitions, site selections, and high-stakes lease negotiations.
- Strong understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), construction frameworks, and Nigerian commercial property markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Estate Management, or a related field; professional certifications like CIPS, CIPSMN, or NIESV are a plus.
