About the Role
Malaria Consortium is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Chain Technical Assistant to join our team in Adamawa. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for the supply chain management of Azithromycin Mass Drug Administration (MDA) commodities under the SARMAAN II project, ensuring efficient last-mile distribution, end-to-end visibility, and robust inventory control.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure supply chain activities meet program needs, donor requirements, and organizational policies in a timely manner.
- Conduct monthly stock status assessments of MDA commodities at the state central medical store and report findings.
- Support microplanning, quantification, and distribution plan development using verifiable data sources.
- Manage AZM commodities at State Central Medical Stores and health facilities, ensuring access to Pharmacovigilance forms.
- Coordinate reverse logistics, monitor commodity deliveries, and reconcile logistic data with monitoring and evaluation teams.
- Facilitate routine monitoring, supportive supervisory visits, and coordinate review meetings for LMIS reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven expertise in supply chain and logistics management for public health commodities, particularly in campaign or community-level implementations.
- Familiarity with the National Supply Chain system of the Ministry of Health, LMIS, and MCLS.
- Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders at state and LGA levels.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, facilitation, and coordination skills with excellent proficiency in Excel.
