About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading Cocoa Processing Factory in Nigeria based in Akure, Ondo State, right in the heart of Nigeria’s cocoa growing belt. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, one of the country's largest exporters of cocoa beans, we are dedicated to producing and delivering high-quality cocoa products that exceed international specifications. We are currently looking for a skilled Accounts & Finance Professional with a strong focus on risk management to strengthen our financial operations, ensure robust internal controls, and support our continued growth in the global market.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage financial risks associated with operational and treasury activities within the manufacturing plant.
- Implement and monitor internal control policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform regular financial analysis, variance reporting, and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate seamless audit processes and timely remediation of findings.
- Maintain accurate financial records utilizing advanced accounting systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and risk profiles for management review.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or risk management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with high integrity and sound professional judgment.
- Good working knowledge of modern accounting systems, ERP software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively within a structured manufacturing or corporate organization.
