About the Role
Chilis by Ebevande, a premier 24-hour service restaurant and lounge located in Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a talented and proactive Procurement Officer to oversee our purchasing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the seamless flow of high-quality ingredients, beverages, and equipment necessary to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers around the clock.
Key Responsibilities- Source, vet, and evaluate reliable suppliers for food ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and operational services.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors to secure maximum value.
- Manage daily purchasing requests and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excessive waste.
- Analyze market pricing trends and operational expenses to identify strategic cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the culinary and kitchen teams to ensure strict quality control and adherence to food safety standards.
- Build and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners.
- Monitor supply chain risks, including price volatility and potential disruptions, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Analyze procurement and inventory data to forecast demand and optimize future purchasing decisions.
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or inventory control, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and local market supplier networks in Ibadan.
