About the Role
Jeffreda Montessori and High School (officially registered as Jeffreda High School), a reputable government-approved private institution providing comprehensive early childhood, primary, and secondary education in Rivers State, Nigeria, is seeking a vigilant and professional Security Personnel. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety, monitoring premises, and ensuring the absolute protection of our students, staff, and school property.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
- Control pedestrian and vehicular traffic entering the school grounds, ensuring proper identification and visitor sign-in procedures.
- Conduct regular patrols around the school buildings, dormitories, and recreational areas day and night.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and take appropriate action according to school protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and community security networks when necessary to maintain public safety.
- Enforce school security policies and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent professional security training certification.
- Proven previous experience working as a security guard or security personnel, preferably within an educational environment.
- Possess strong observational skills, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and staff.
