J-Six Group is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and food safety by sourcing the best ingredients and supplies for our hospitality operations. Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing suppliers and vendors.
- Source, purchase, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain high-quality products at competitive prices without compromising standards.
- Liaise with vendors to compare proposals, ensuring specifications align with restaurant requirements.
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts while continuously monitoring the quality of goods and services provided.
- Ensure all ordered products are received, meticulously accounted for, and processed both physically and within internal inventory systems.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to optimize raw material costs and implement best practices in cost control.
- Minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven working experience as a Procurement Officer within the food and beverage, culinary, or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and working knowledge of ERP software will be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and a robust analytical mindset for problem-solving.
