About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company established in 2014, specializing in the export of solid minerals and agricultural products alongside our industrial recycling operations. We are currently seeking a qualified and technically competent Procurement Officer to join our team at our Aluminium and Copper Ingots Manufacturing Plant located in Suleja, Niger State. In this vital role, you will drive our supply chain efficiency by securing high-quality raw materials to support our large-scale recycling and production activities.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers for aluminum and copper scraps, ensuring consistent availability of raw materials.
- Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and payment terms while achieving cost-saving targets.
- Adhere strictly to company procurement guidelines regarding price quotes, bidding processes, and vendor selection.
- Maintain and regularly update the supplier database and vendor list to ensure accurate records.
- Monitor supplier deliverables, timelines, and quality compliance to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate with management to discuss contract terms and strategic vendor engagements.
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly procurement reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven purchasing or procurement experience within a recycling facility or manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in procuring aluminum and copper scraps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
