About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic Procurement Officer to join our vibrant team in Ikorodu, Lagos State, to drive efficient supply chain operations and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate reliable vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure the best pricing and quality for materials.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including issuing purchase orders and tracking shipments.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with local and international vendors.
- Collaborate with internal departments, especially production and warehouse teams, to monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising the quality of supplied goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, update ERP systems, and generate regular purchasing reports for management.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven procurement experience, preferably within a steel plant or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates residing in Ikorodu or immediate neighboring areas are strongly preferred.
