About the Role
Chilis by Ebevande, a premier 24-hour service restaurant and lounge located in Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our kitchen and lounge are fully stocked with high-quality ingredients and supplies while maintaining optimal cost efficiency and strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Find, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for ingredients, beverages, equipment, and essential operational services.
- Negotiate favorable prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions with vendors to maximize cost savings.
- Manage daily purchasing activities and oversee comprehensive inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
- Analyze procurement data, track expenses, and identify market trends to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Ensure all purchased products strictly meet quality, safety, and food regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with chefs on menu engineering to balance profitability with exceptional customer appeal.
- Mitigate supply chain risks, including price fluctuations, delivery delays, and supplier disruptions.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated professional experience of 1 to 5 years within the hospitality, restaurant, or food and beverage procurement sector.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
