About the Role

White Crust Limited is a reputable lending company providing quick and convenient access to personal loans for individuals and small businesses. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services essential for our daily operations, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness and high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and source reliable vendors and suppliers for materials, goods, and services to support business functions.
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and detailed service contracts.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve significant cost savings.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all required materials to support ongoing operations and projects.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all purchases, pricing histories, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent operational shortages.
  • Evaluate vendor performance continuously and foster strong, mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
  • Ensure all procurement activities strictly comply with internal company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance and Operations departments to ensure seamless procurement workflows.
  • Track, analyze, and report on procurement activities, cost-saving initiatives, and vendor metrics.
  • Swiftly resolve any issues related to supply delays, product quality, or invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND or SSCE qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Additional certification or training in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern procurement processes and industry best practices.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and record-keeping abilities with a sharp eye for detail.
