About the Role
AtlanticBlu Hotel & Resort, a premier luxury boutique destination in Abuja, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Procurement Officer to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of luxury by sourcing quality goods, negotiating competitive pricing, and managing inventory for our rooms, suites, and Aarons Restro Bar. Key Responsibilities- Source, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for hotel amenities, food and beverage supplies, and operational equipment.
- Negotiate the best pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules to optimize hotel procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet AtlanticBlu quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the finance department and department heads to forecast purchasing needs and manage departmental budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory standards, and health and safety guidelines regarding hotel supplies.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury service sector.
- Must reside in Abuja, Nigeria, with a strong understanding of the local vendor market.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
