JV Management Consulting, a premier indigenous Human Resource Management consulting firm, is seeking a creative, fashion-forward, and commercially minded Assistant Creative / Sketching Director to join our dynamic team located in Lekki, Lagos. This role is designed for a visionary professional who possesses exceptional artistic talent coupled with a strong strategic mindset for the Nigerian fashion industry. We need someone who can go beyond traditional sketching to translate fresh fashion concepts into commercially viable designs that captivate our target market and drive sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop innovative and commercially viable fashion concepts, collections, and detailed design sketches aligned with current market trends.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure that sketches and designs are accurately translated into high-quality finished garments.
- Conduct thorough market and customer research to identify emerging fashion trends, consumer preferences, and lucrative business opportunities.
- Oversee the styling and illustration processes from the initial conceptualization phase through to final presentation and production.
- Contribute strategic creative ideas that directly support organizational growth, brand positioning, and overall sustainability strategies.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related creative discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in fashion illustration, sketching, and creative direction.
- Demonstrated ability to balance high-end creative vision with commercial viability and business objectives.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing advanced sketching, illustration, and fashion styling capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
