About the Role
Horatio Limited is a leader in commercial real estate, banking facilities, high-end luxury housing, and industrial developments. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Officer to support our growing project delivery operations across Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our supply chain, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services are procured to the highest quality standards and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the end-to-end procurement of construction materials, specialized equipment, and essential services for ongoing projects.
- Source reliable vendors, evaluate commercial quotations, and prepare comprehensive financial comparisons to secure the best value.
- Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), issue purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
- Monitor active orders and actively expedite deliveries to prevent bottlenecks and strictly meet project timelines.
- Inspect and ensure all delivered materials comply with approved engineering specifications, quality benchmarks, and project standards.
- Conduct strategic commercial negotiations and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven procurement experience, specifically within the construction, real estate, or oil and gas sectors in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing RFQs, purchase orders, vendor evaluations, and detailed procurement reporting.
- Exceptional commercial negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, NIGP, or equivalent bodies will be considered a strong added advantage.
