About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Operator / Patroller to join our dynamic Production Department in Nigeria. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining our high standards of operational excellence, ensuring that all production processes run smoothly and efficiently to meet our ambitious manufacturing targets.
Key Responsibilities- Implement assigned field activities and provide real-time feedback to the Central Control Room (CCR) team.
- Ensure all processing equipment is cleaned regularly to maintain optimal working conditions.
- Liaise closely with CCR operators and Shift Managers to facilitate smooth, uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment within your assigned production section and document any mechanical or operational issues for immediate attention.
- Report critical problems promptly to CCR Operators and Shift Coordinators for swift resolution.
- Organize and participate fully in all housekeeping and cleaning activities within the designated section.
- Collaborate with Shift Coordinators and Section Heads to ensure daily and weekly production targets are successfully achieved.
- School Certificate or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.
- Zero (0) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of the cement production process and associated machinery.
- Good understanding of basic material process flow lines and production equipment functions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
