About the Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and goods for our ambitious real estate developments, supporting our mission to build spaces where people love to live, work, and visit.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update the procurement register daily with accurate delivery dates, vessel ETAs, and on-site arrival confirmations.
- Process purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery instructions efficiently under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.
- Manage vendor contact files and handle routine correspondence to build strong, reliable supplier relationships.
- Track import shipments closely, monitor vessel movements, and liaise with clearing agents regarding documentation requirements.
- Verify delivery documentation by matching delivery notes to purchase orders, flagging discrepancies, and maintaining records for the quantity surveying team.
- Coordinate with the Site Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth on-site reception arrangements and timely offloading.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in preparing comprehensive tender packages for construction goods and materials.
- Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records for minor site-level purchases.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in procurement or logistics coordination, with prior experience in the Nigerian construction industry being a distinct advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern procurement management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in tracking shipments and flagging potential supply chain delays.
