About the Role
Ellasot Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable oil and gas client to hire a detail-oriented Procurement Officer. You will manage the timely, cost-effective sourcing and delivery of quality industrial equipment, spare parts, and materials to clients across the oil and gas, construction, and power sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable local and international suppliers and OEMs.
- Source industrial equipment and technical components in line with strict project requirements.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions, RFQs, and POs accurately.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty provisions to achieve optimal value.
- Track purchase orders from sourcing through shipment and final delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to confirm technical compliance and approved brands.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and Incoterms for international transactions.
- HND or BSc in Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain operations within industrial or oil and gas sectors.
- Familiarity with NIPEX and e-procurement platforms.
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Strong commercial negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Progress toward or active membership in CIPS is an added advantage.
