About the Role

We are currently seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to spearhead our purchasing operations, optimize supply chain activities, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives and budgetary goals.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Obtain and compare quotations to guarantee maximum value for money on all goods and services acquired.
- Negotiate favorable contracts, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other critical commercial conditions.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and ongoing supplier performance to prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, products, and services for various internal departments.
- Conduct continuous market research to monitor price trends, product availability, and industry innovations.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved organizational policies, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier evaluation summaries for management review.
- Minimum of OND or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS will be considered a strong added advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the food, hospitality, or FMCG industry in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high ethical standards.
