About the Role
Konga Online Shopping Limited is expanding its supply chain team and looking for a driven Procurement Executive with a core focus on the Computing category. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in sourcing top-tier merchandise and operational supplies for our e-commerce platform, retail outlets, and corporate sales units. Key Responsibilities- Source high-quality merchandise and operational supplies with a primary focus on computing products and other designated categories.
- Identify, onboard, and manage reliable suppliers while negotiating competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Assist category managers with supplier intelligence, product research, and demand forecasting based on sales trends and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure strict procurement compliance with company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement-to-payment process, ensuring timely processing of purchase orders in coordination with Finance and Logistics teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for inbound, cross-docked, and journalized items.
- Monitor key performance indicators including cost savings, procurement lead times, and overall supplier performance.
- University degree (BSc/BA) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of proven procurement experience within the e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors in Nigeria.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and table formulation) and familiarity with Microsoft ERP or relevant procurement software.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and dispute-resolution capabilities with a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or CIPSMN will be considered a strong added advantage.
