About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Engineer specializing in the FMCG industry to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging engineering requirements and commercial supply chains, ensuring seamless operations for our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities- Execute end-to-end sourcing activities for raw materials, engineering equipment, spare parts, and industrial services tailored to FMCG clients.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate local and international suppliers, and develop comprehensive commercial comparison sheets.
- Review technical submissions, product specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure full compliance with operational and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, negotiating optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor purchase order statuses, coordinate logistics and expediting, and resolve any delivery discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and generate regular reports in alignment with company policies and audit standards.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related technical discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or project engineering within the FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and equipment specifications.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and commercial negotiation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing multiple purchase orders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
