About the Role
African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML), a key subsidiary of African Industries Group specializing in steel production and mining, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Process Engineer to join our expanding team in Kaduna State. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing production workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and guaranteeing superior product quality across our industrial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and evaluate daily production processes to identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and material losses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures to drive productivity and cost efficiency.
- Analyze complex production data and key performance indicators to formulate actionable corrective measures.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and process deviations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using root-cause analysis and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ensure all engineering modifications and process changes comply strictly with corporate HSE and quality standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and provide guidance to floor personnel regarding process enhancements.
Bachelor Degree or HND in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on process engineering experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong proficiency in root-cause analysis, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
- Advanced analytical, numerical, and technical documentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
