About the Role
Standard Chartered Bank is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Priority Sales & Service Officer to join our Wealth and Retail Banking team in Rivers, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting Relationship Managers to acquire, retain, and deepen long-term banking relationships with our esteemed affluent clients. You will provide exceptional financial solutions, keeping abreast of market trends while ensuring strict adherence to operational risk and regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support C-suite Acquisition Managers in acquiring, retaining, and deepening banking relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Organize and follow up on leads, complete and record appointments, and successfully close customer requests.
- Assist clients in meeting their financial goals as they progress through various career and life stages.
- Understand clients’ financial aspirations to grow, manage, and protect their wealth using appropriate investment solutions.
- Stay informed on market trends, new product offerings, and active bank campaigns to spot cross-selling opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to build trust and expand client portfolios sustainably.
- Minimum of a First Degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 2 years of proven banking experience, specifically in customer servicing, cash handling, or affluent client management.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CMFAS or equivalent capital markets and financial advisory credentials.
- Demonstrated core skills including problem-solving, resilience, effective communication, and results-driven execution.
- Completion of mandatory compliance e-learning including Anti-Money Laundering, Conflict of Interest, and Sanctions.
