Beta Glass Plc, a strategic partner to international beverage bottlers and proud member of the Frigoglass Group, is seeking a skilled Printing Supervisor. We are a major supplier of glass packaging solutions across West and Central Africa, serving diverse sectors including soft drinks, beer, spirits, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. The Printing Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining printing machines, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading printing teams to deliver exceptional results. You will coordinate major maintenance activities, oversee production quality, and ensure seamless operations across all printing functions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee major printing machine maintenance activities and equipment optimization
- Ensure high-quality printing output and manage design and development of printing processes
- Oversee production flow, assembly methods, and printing equipment utilization
- Coordinate product launches for new or revised items, including team training and results evaluation
- Manage shop floor activities under Technical Manager direction, adhering to established procedures
- Schedule, monitor, and supervise printing support operations to meet deadlines
- Support decision-making for new product lines based on technical specifications
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 4-6 years of experience in printing supervision or related manufacturing roles
- Proven team leadership experience with demonstrated supervisory capability
- Hands-on experience with screen-printing, acrylic printing, or equivalent processes
- Strong experience in printing machine operations and maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong report-writing ability
