About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited is a premier provider of customized engineering, marine, and technical solutions for the maritime, petrochemical, energy, oil, and gas sectors in Nigeria. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Principal Piping Design Engineer to join our dynamic technical services team in driving excellence across landmark projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the piping design and engineering team in developing comprehensive layouts, plot plans, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ensure all piping designs comply with international codes, standards, and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Perform advanced stress analysis and coordinate clash detection using state-of-the-art laser scanning and CAD software.
- Review and approve piping isometric drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and structural engineers to optimize plant design.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level piping design engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and client technical alignment meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven piping design experience within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, and Caesar II.
- Thorough understanding of ASME, API, and ANSI codes and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong track record of managing complex engineering projects.
