About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is a leading independent Nigerian energy firm playing a pivotal role in the oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Pipeline Engineer to provide critical engineering expertise and support the delivery of our high-impact HA and HB-Buko projects, supplying vital gas to the NLNG Train-7.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all pipeline engineering activities and deliverables for the HA and HB-Buko projects from conceptual design through commissioning.
- Provide specialist skills in subsea pipeline engineering, ensuring compliance with international design codes, legislative requirements, and industry best practices.
- Perform detailed design and analysis for rigid pipeline systems, including wall thickness selection, on-bottom stability, thermal expansion, and thermo-mechanical design.
- Supervise pipeline engineers, review FEED and detailed design deliverables, and provide mentorship to junior and graduate engineers.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and manage external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers effectively.
- Participate in project reviews, HAZID, and HAZOP sessions while championing a zero-accident and inherently safe design culture.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- At least 14 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry, with exposure to offshore platforms, FPSOs, or onshore terminals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSSE frameworks, international engineering standards, and subsea pipeline design technologies.
