Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise daily mining operations to consistently achieve and exceed production targets.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize mining processes, reduce operational costs, and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety regulations, and environmental standards across all mining sites.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage comprehensive mining budgets and operational expenses.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including geology, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline operations and maximize output.
- Mentor and lead junior engineering and operations staff to foster a high-performance work culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in mining operations, with significant exposure to the cement or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of mining principles, industry best practices, and local regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
