About the Role
Akiavic Blue Roof Hotel, a charming family-run boutique hotel located at 237 Brigadier Ademulegun Road in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance / Electrician. Key Responsibilities- Perform routine electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of wiring, lighting systems, and electrical appliances throughout the hotel.
- Conduct general facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC upkeep to ensure all guest rooms and public areas remain in pristine condition.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs from hotel staff and guests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment, requesting restocking as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Minimum of a Trade Test Certificate, Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Proven working experience as a maintenance electrician or general maintenance technician, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Sound knowledge of safety protocols, electrical codes, and general building maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a close-knit team environment.
