About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Nursing Officer to join our dynamic healthcare services team in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care within our out-patient and accident and emergency departments while offering essential guidance to junior healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional, patient-centered nursing care and act as the primary clinical resource for out-patient and emergency streams.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior nursing staff, trainees, and interns to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and execute clinical treatments accurately within your professional scope of practice.
- Maintain precise, timely nursing documentation while strictly adhering to clinical governance and infection-prevention protocols.
- Manage complex triage decisions, handle same-day clinical escalations, and coordinate minor procedure clinics seamlessly.
- Valid NMCN registration and current license with documented compliance to MCPDP standards.
- Registered Nurse qualification or a Bachelor of Nursing Science from a recognized institution, alongside completed NYSC or valid exemption.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-registration clinical experience within a hospital setting, focusing on out-patient or A&E care.
